Hello, my name is Amanda Poteet Woolen and I'm here to support your adventure into all things Birth & Baby!

I serve Southern Kentucky as a well experienced DONA trained birth Doula, bereavement Doula, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Certified Lactation Counselor, a home birth Midwifery assistant, and student midwife located in Bowling Green, Ky.

My goal as your care provider is to offer you and your family quality support, education and encouragement as you begin your journey into parenthood.

As a Doula I strive to support families of all ages, race, sexual and religious orientations. I offer education and support to families birthing at home, hospital, and birth centers. I attend all types of births including medical/nonmedical, cesarean, surrogate and VBAC births.

 
As a Certified Lactation Consultant I ensure families have the proper education and support to get the best start with their breastfeeding relationship. 

Your birth & baby experience is special and unique to only you. It is my goal to help you navigate your wishes, explore your rights as a birthing women and to be witness to your families special moment.
